Rock Island Arsenal

AGS has delivered excellent O&M services at the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois since 1997 as part of the Rock Island Integrated Services (RIIS) joint venture. We are responsible for around-the-clock support of the steam generating plant, water plant, sanitary sewage, swing span bridge, hydroelectric plant, and snow removal operations. In addition, AGS provides maintains and repairs over four million square feet of buildings, 390,000 square yards of paved roads, 1,300 square yards of paved parking areas, and 60,000 square yards of other lots and courtyards. Because of our excellent performance at Rock Island, we received the Public Works Contractor of the Year Award in 1999 from both the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Army Material Command.
